Spielleiter Special:

  • Miss attack by 5+: attack random creature in reach
  • Kill: can spread to all adjacent creatures

  • Orc, attack +7, 1d12+4 damage, crit range 20-20 (1), Proficiency 3, Constitution 16, 32 HP
  • Temp HP + 16 => HP=32, THP=16
  • Attack: +4 (7-3) (advantage), crit range 19-20 (1+1), 1d12+13 (4+3*PROF = 4+9) dmg
  • Kills enemy => Hate increases
  • Attack: +1 (7-3-3) (advantage), crit range 18-20 (1+1+1), 1d12+22 (4+9+9) dmg
  • Kills enemy => Hate increases
  • Attack: -2 (7-3-3-3) (advantage), crit range 17-20 (1+1+1+1), 1d12+31 (4+9+9+9) dmg


Full Rules:

With an elaborate speech, dark imagery and prophecies of gloom and glory, you instill a deeply rooted hate in your allies around you that targets any creature not belonging to your cause.

Each friendly creature within 60 feet of you that can hear and see you for the greater part of the duration can make a WIS 13 saving throw against the charming effect:
  • On a success, the creature will not be affected by the Hate spell.
  • If the creature fails the save or chooses not to save against it, unprecedented hate will consume it. It gains temporary Hit Points equal to its Constitution Score.
  • When the afflicted creature finishes a long rest, regains counsciousness, or loses its hostile attitude (insight, charmed, Calm Emotions etc), it can repeat the saving throw to rid itself of Hate.
  • A creature that has been subject to Hate for 7 consecutive days will be permanently afflicted by Hate, turning it into a curse. Hate then can only be removed by Greater Restoration, Remove Curse, Wish or similar powers of equal or greater strength.

While under the influence of Hate, each creature suffers the following effects:
  • Strike First: It has advantage on melee attack rolls, but grants advantage on melee attack rolls made against it.
  • Strike Hard: (Effects stack up to 3 times)
    • The creature suffers an attack malus equal to its proficiency modifier (up to 3*PROF).
    • The creature receives a damage bonus equal to three times that amount to its melee damage (up to 9*PROF).
    • The creature's critical range increases by 1 (up to +3 to its normal crit range).
  • No Mercy:
    • The creature must attack its nearest enemy. If given the choice, it will always prefer helpless (unconscious, restrained etc) targets, to finish them off once and for all.
    • It cannot take any defensive Actions (Dodge, Disengage etc).
  • Blind Hatred: If the creature misses its target with a melee attack by more than 5, it will instead hit another random creature within its reach, maybe even itself.
  • Spiraling Cycle of Hate: Each time a creature afflicted by Hate kills another creature, all creatures adjacent to the slain creature either
    • gain another stack of Strike Hard if they're already under the influcence of Hate, or
    • have to pass the WIS 13 saving throw or also get afflicted by Hate.
  • Consuming Hatred: After each fight the creature was engaged in and killed at least one enemy, its Exhaustion Level increases by 1.
